Madrasati Initiative was launched by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah in 2008, as a non-profit organization to improve the physical and educational environment of Jordan’s public schools. Madrasati mobilizes the efforts of different parties to guarantee children safe spaces for learning, increase teachers’ morale and motivation, and garner societal support for quality education to help children learn and enhance their prospects for the future. Over the past five years, Madrasati has worked, in a very challenging context, to return music education to the national public school system.
