Shi Qi Ooi

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Shi Qi was inspired by witnessing the stark level of food waste and her interest for entrepreneurship to create world-changing solutions. Her FoodSave app aims to target this exact problem of food waste, and was selected to pitch this at the World Food Forum. Other areas of involvement such as her debate experience, nonprofit creation and leadership in service, as well as her online presence deepened her commitment to impact innovation and advocacy as a member of youth to promote awareness against overconsumption as a whole.
