Nassim Ashford is social science researcher, activist, and entrepreneur, he is a Jamaican American and native of Atlanta, GA. Nassim is a co-founder and Co-Executive Director of NoirUnited, a black-led global development, and humanitarian organization focused on centering Black and other marginalized people in developing their communities. Nassim has a keen interest in working at the intersection of global health, traditional medicine, and emergency preparedness to promote social equity. He is a current MPH candidate at the Yale School of Public Health, concentrating in Social and Behavioral Sciences.
