Deb Martinez

Deb Heim Martinez has taught at the collegiate level since 2002. She brings 15 years of classroom experience with her including preschool, kindergarten, and first grade. She enjoys being a student teacher supervisor and intern mentor to coach and guide preservice students putting research and best practice into action. She holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood from ASU and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Her research focus includes play education, nature connections, STEAM and clinical experiences.
