Andrew Speight
Youth Advisor @ Blackpool Council
Andrew served as the Member of Youth Parliament for Blackpool between March 2019 & March 2022, and now serves as the representative for the North West on the Youth Parliament’s Steering Group. His paid employment is as a Youth Advisor to Blackpool Council, lending his lived experience to the development of an Employment & Skills strategy for young people.
Andrew is also founder of the “Emoco” project bringing whole-school communities together in co-production to embed a culture of well-being in schools that recognises positive mental well-being as an essential prerequisite to academic success.
