I am a teacher, at St. Joseph's Junior School – Kimilili. I have an active climate Action club in the school that consist of 100 learners and our activities in the school have had been noticed. We started by increasing the vegetation cover in the school which we have done, except with the current dry spell that is slowing down our initiatives. We started waste segregation in the school and the rest of the school now practice it. We have a vegetable garden that is now serving the boarding population in the school and since our major water source is rain water that is harvested in school, we tasked ourselves with prudent water usage initiatives to other learners. We have also embarked on promotion of Education for sustainable development initiatives within school and out of school. Our parents, teachers and learners now have information about Sustainable Development Goals
