The purpose of the project is to explain and advocate (explavocate) against phobias that target religious and racial communities. There will be descriptions of historical events correlated to racial or religious prejudice and how modern social media, politics, and the internet has continued to reinforce these stereotypes. The event will explain why these misassumptions exist and how they are not true. In terms of Islamophobia, this event will discuss religious terrorism in MENA and explain how official Islam scholars have actively denounced the presence and ideology that ISIS believes in, opposing the misassumption that Islam is tied to terrorism.
The founder was inspired by his summer experience in 2025 in Qatar which corrected countless stereotypes he has seen online about the MENA region and Islam. The hospitality and warmth he experienced inspired him to develop pathways to eliminate prejudice and hostility against racial and religious groups.
