San José de Las Vegas is a private K–11 school in Medellín, Colombia, with a 58-year legacy and has two campuses, one urban and one rural. The school’s vision is to educate individuals as compassionate human beings committed to serving society. This vision emphasizes nurturing the inner life of students by cultivating deep connections with their thoughts, emotions, and physical well-being, while also inspiring them to act responsibly toward the environment.

Rooted in values of equity, civic ethics, and intercultural collaboration, the school prepares students to be conscious global citizens. In 2022, San José de Las Vegas joined the “United for the Planet” initiative in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund and Antioquia’s local government, empowering students to lead community-based environmental actions.
Academically, the school follows the national curriculum but enhances it through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates science, technology, arts, mathematics, and humanities.
