As global temperatures climb, high-performance athletes, especially runners, are experiencing increased risks of heat strokes and eco-anxiety—a form of chronic stress caused by climate-related fears and uncertainties.

EcoEndure was founded as a youth-led initiative that addresses the rising mental and physical challenges athletes face due to climate change. The organization, through our RESILIENCE Framework, provides science-based strategies to help athletes manage these challenges, from climate-adaptive training routines to mindfulness practices that build mental resilience.

The project made its global debut at UN Science, Technology and Innovation Forum 2025 in New York.
