He obtained his master\u2019s degree in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Oxford. His master\u2019s research focused on contemporary Russian state narratives and political discourse towards Central Asia and its peoples.<br \/>\nHe has professional experience in research and administrative roles across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining UNU, he interned with UN ESCAP in Almaty, Kazakhstan and with the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands.
