Ms Jun Morohashi joined UNESCO in 1999 and started her career in Division for Human Rights & Fight against Racism and Discrimination in Social & Human Sciences Sector (1999-2007). She then worked in Education Sector as Programme Specialist in Peace, Human Rights and Global Citizenship Education (2007-2014) before serving as Chief of Education Unit at UNESCO Port-au-Prince Office (2014-2016), and then as Head of Executive Office & Regional Programme Coordinator at the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education in Bangkok until March 2020 before coming back to HQ as Programme Specialist in Section of Education for Sustainable Development.
