Hana Motokura

Hana Motokura is the founder of CommunPlace, a youth-centered initiative reimagining trust between communities and global institutions. Beginning her media career at age eight in Singapore, she learned to navigate adult workspaces, which sharpened her advocacy, communication, and awareness of power dynamics. Early exposure to issues like fair wages, stereotypes, and child labor shaped her belief that media is a powerful tool for justice. She leads initiatives such as Roots, Feeding Futures, and Project WISH, supporting women in Africa, tackling food insecurity in India, and granting wishes for critically ill children. Her work is showcased by UNESCO and Learning Planet.
