Long Bio
Brian (he/him) is a 4th year PhD student in the School of Sustainability. His research revolves around relational approaches to sustainability education and research through Indigenous and non-Western philosophical traditions, as well as Western relational philosophies. These philosophical perspectives challenge dualistic thinking, which many consider at the root of sustainability problems, by collapsing the illusory separation of humans (social) and nature (ecological) and related dichotomies.
