Ashley is a global mental health professional and licensed clinician with over twelve years of experience in program development and implementation, research, teaching, and direct clinical services. She
has over ten years of direct experience working in humanitarian settings with a focus on integrating mental health care into health, education and protection services, developing supervision systems, collaborating on policy change and training and supporting staff on the use of psychological interventions. Ashley started her career as a licensed family therapist and received her doctorate from North Carolina State University where she spent three years traveling to the Democratic Republic of Congo to conduct her dissertation research and run a non-profit alongside Congolese women.
