Girls Go STEM is a European education initiative under the Union of Skills, powered by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). It empowers students aged 14–19 with digital, green, and entrepreneurial competences to prepare them for the green and digital transitions. Since 2020, the programme has trained over 89,000 students, including 70,000 girls, and engaged more than 4,000 educators across 35 countries and 28 languages. Its 20+ online courses and interactive challenges promote inclusion and inspire young people to pursue careers in science, technology, and innovation. Results show that 82% of learners improved their digital and entrepreneurial skills, while 84% feel more confident applying their knowledge in real contexts. As a Union of Skills flagship initiative, Girls Go STEM fosters collaboration among schools, industry, and policymakers to build Europe’s future talent base.
