Don Bosco International (DBI) is a NGO (aisbl) based in Brussels (Belgium) that represents the Salesians of Don Bosco before the European institutions. DBI acts as liaison office of Don Bosco schools, VET centres, social works and youth centres with the EU, focusing on advocacy in three thematic priorities: fighting poverty and social exclusion, supporting school to work transition, and promoting the integral human development of children and young people. All these priorities are referred especially to children and young people with a vulnerable background, at risk of poverty and social marginalisation. With an experience of 170 years, our network is active in 137 countries all over the world, including 21 EU Member States, to ensure youth empowerment and active citizenship through a holistic approach on quality education, vocational training, social services and youth centres.
