The Bhagavad Gita is a widely discussed text from educational perspective although it is regarded as a representative scripture from Hinduism. As the campaign, Gita4Life Campaign, concerns the exploration and promotion of the teachings of the Gita for creation of a better world, this event explores the aspects of teaching and learning as discussed in the Gita, mainly goals of education, contents, methods, roles of students and teachers, evaluation and the context. Accordingly, the participants of the event will be students and educators as well as general public concerned with quality education. The event will be held online in the form of a webinar; the presenters will share the teachings of the Gita with reference to the different aspects of teaching and learning, and the participants will be involved through discussion on the presentation. As a result, new insights will be explored on quality of education, which can address issues at hand to some extent.
