Entrepreneurial Education for Technical Secondary Schools in Egypt

Egyptian technical secondary schools should prepare their graduates for the fast-changing world. For developing countries like Egypt, the need to create a labor force for existing and new innovative labor markets is enormous and also there is a high demand for recruiting skilled labor force in the production and service sectors. Thus, providing a type of education that develops entrepreneurial competencies in its students is vital. Most Egyptian students at technical secondary education schools should practice and study entrepreneurial lessons. The majority of Egyptian youth are willing to try new things and also they are an excellent target for studying and practicing entrepreneurial education. Therefore, most technical secondary school students are more likely to embrace entrepreneurship as a subject of study. The current technical education system needs to be improved to meet the needs of upcoming job markets. The presentation tries to shed light on the challenges of teaching entrepreneurial education at technical secondary education schools, the importance of teaching and practicing entrepreneurial education, the key players of the technical education system, and what we need to guarantee future graduates with high-quality entrepreneurial skills.
