Schools are a foundational system of children’s lives and the means through which children learn about themselves and the world. But from an increasingly early age, many of our school systems are switching students off, teaching children to deny their inner knowing, seek knowledge not wisdom, and conform, rather than create their life.
Increasingly, children and young people and their parents and carers are calling for new models of schooling. As more of our societal systems shift to embrace new ways of thinking, doing and being, we’ll explore how we can support schools to nurture the ‘spark’ in every child and create joyful classrooms, through the development of a conscious learning environment, authentic relationships and a heart-centred curriculum of self-discovery.
In this interactive session, we’ll explore how education systems have become entrenched in ego, and identify ways in which new, conscious classrooms can flourish. We’ll hear from expert changemakers who are bringing unique ideas to transform schooling, and create opportunities for you to connect with other educators, parents and changemakers to share ideas and co-create a new vision for the future.
