Climate, biodiversity, food, water, energy, poverty, inequality, democracy… Faced with the scale and complexity of the environmental and societal challenges that are having a massive impact on their future, young people – 2.6 billion of the world’s population under the age of 20 – are currently facing huge barriers to act. And this powerlessness is reflected in mental health crises affecting young people worldwide. Â
This session is followed by the session “Youth Empowerment and Well-Being – Panel Discussion”.
