“Lucid questions” are provocative challenges that can catalyse cultural evolution. Like Zen Buddihist “koans”, they are “questions without answer” that may require whole system change to be answered. One of the best examples of the “lucid questions” was asked in 1960s by Buckminster Fuller: “How can we make the world work for 100% of humanity In the shortest possible time through spontaneous cooperation without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone?” The panel will explore how can such questions be asked – and what can be the ultimate questions can guide the path towards a harmonious existence within and between humanity and nature.
