Innovative Pedagogies Project

Research shows that learning outcomes improve when all students are motivated to learn and when all learners can engage with lesson content in a way that works best for them and at their level and pace. In October 2021, the Education Commission and the LEGO Foundation in collaboration with the Institute for Educational Planning and Administration at the University of Cape Coast, the Aga Khan Foundation, Samuel Hall, A Partner in Education, and The Wellspring Foundation, as well as the governments of Ghana, Kenya, and Rwanda. The Innovative Pedagogies Project (IPP) launched in Rwanda, Kenya, and Ghana to create greater awareness, political will, and action toward adopting inclusive, engaging, adaptive, and playful pedagogies. The project was structured around an "Evidence into Action" model where at each phase the finding were presented and actioned through research, dialogues and learning loops. The panel will highlight the findings from the research and the national action
