Gamifying Civics

Gamifying-Civics

This session explores the link between social emotional learning and civic engagement, and how we might use games to bridge the two together. Hosted by Michelle Blanchet, author of Preventing Polarization: 50 Strategies to Teach Kids about Empathy, Politics, and Civic Responsibility and Peter Williamson Co-founder of Game Genius and designer of Consensus – we will explore how schools and organizations are using games to help students engage in real-world issues, use their voice and strengthen dialogue around tough issues.
