Existing organisation of capital markets is often seen as the root cause of the unfolding environmental and social crisis. However, capital is a way of collective organization that can also become the “force for good”. This panel will hold an in-depth discussion on the future of capital and financial markets, and the potential for capital to be a tool for problem-solving and redirecting resources for the common good. We will explore how emerging financial paradigms and technologies can facilitate the transition of society, addressing pressing challenges like climate change, the shift to a regenerative economy, and inequality.
