A New Generational Contract

St.Gallens-CoR-event_-_517x280px_-_v4

The need for the ability to face immediate crises and pursue long-term unpredictable transformations is a defining feature of our time. How can we address current, urgent challenges in a way that also sets the path for a more resilient, regenerative future?

The young and old depend on each other and are bound by mutual responsibilities. It reminds us of the importance to be good ancestors and of meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of young and future generations to meet their own needs.

Asking the questions: What have we forgotten about? What does connect us? What do we owe each other? What is missing in the relationship(s)? What do we give each other now – and what could we give each other further?

The Club of Rome hosts this session to discuss these questions to start a series of discussions on the global themes for relationality among generations. This session will be shaped in the form of a roundtable.
