Learning Planet Assembly

The launching event for a revolutionary, open-source approach to SDG-focused curriculum design, powered by students and educators alike.

July 26-27th, Paris.

Assembly goals

The LP Assembly is a collaborative process largely based on the unconference format: Participants are invited to contribute to the agenda, discussion topics, objectives and deliverables. This format provides an excellent opportunity for participants from diverse backgrounds to work collaboratively on topics of common interest. It is conducive for collaboration and collective intelligence.

During the Learning Planet Assembly, we aim at building a highly engaged community to:

  1. learn from successful initiatives and reflect on pedagogies for SDGs;

  2. work on a common open-source collaborative digital platform tailored to the needs of the Learning Planet ecosystem;

  3. advance undergoing projects and help co-design new scaling strategies;

  4. celebrate students engagement and commitment during an award ceremony;

  5. produce a collective documentary about the effort for creating a Learning Planet, featuring video interviews with Assembly attendees.
